Hibernian claimed a 2-1 victory over Dundee while St Mirren and Motherwell played out a six-goal thriller in Sunday afternoon’s Scottish Premiership action.
At Dens Park, Martin Boyle put Hibernian ahead after 25 minutes before Callum Wright doubled the visitors’ advantage in the second half. Dundee pulled one back through Joe Westley with seven minutes remaining, but Hibs held on to secure their second win of the season.
There was late drama in Paisley, where Motherwell recovered from throwing away a two-goal lead to draw 3-3 with St Mirren.
Tawanda Maswanhise and Regan Charles-Cook put the visitors in control inside the opening 25 minutes. St Mirren responded with three goals before half-time, scored by Paul Nsio, Declan John and Samuel Ramos.
Motherwell were rescued in stoppage time by debutant Jardell Kanga, who marked his arrival from Finnish club Ilves with a crucial equaliser.
