Zara Tindall was joined by her brother Peter Phillips and his new wife Harriet at the Burghley Horse Trials in Lincolnshire, where the newlyweds appeared relaxed as they watched the opening stages of the prestigious equestrian event.
Peter, 48, and Harriet, 45, exchanged smiles and held hands as they took in the action on Friday, September 4. Their appearance came as part of a family gathering at Burghley House, near Stamford, during the second day of the 2026 trials.
The couple were also joined by Peter and Zara’s father, Captain Mark Phillips, 77, who attended with his Belgian equestrian partner Florence Standaert, 44.
Zara, an accomplished event rider and Olympic silver medallist, has long been closely associated with the sport. The Defender Burghley Horse Trials is one of the world’s leading five-star eventing competitions and runs from September 3 to 6, with dressage taking place on Friday before the cross-country phase on Saturday.
