Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are monitoring Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Ibrahim Maza as interest in the 20-year-old continues to grow ahead of a potential transfer battle.
The Algeria international has also attracted attention from Chelsea, Manchester City and Aston Villa, with several Premier League clubs assessing his progress this season.

Maza has impressed since joining Leverkusen, where his technical ability, versatility and attacking instincts have helped establish him as an emerging talent in Germany.
Arsenal are understood to view the midfielder as a possible addition to their options in the centre of the pitch. His ability to operate in advanced positions and create chances could appeal to Mikel Arteta’s side.
Tottenham are also considering Maza as they look to add flexibility to their attacking play. The midfielder can operate centrally or in wider areas, giving him the capacity to contribute in different roles in the final third.
He has recorded one goal and one assist for Leverkusen this season, while his form for Algeria has further enhanced his reputation.
Maza scored and provided an assist in Algeria’s 3-1 win over Zambia in Africa Cup of Nations qualifying on Friday.
Leverkusen will be keen to keep the young midfielder, who remains an important part of their plans. However, with Arsenal and Tottenham among the clubs following his development, competition for his signature could intensify in the coming months.
