Ben Affleck has shared details of his co-parenting arrangement with former wife Jennifer Garner, revealing that their three children spend one week with him and the next with their mother.
The actor and filmmaker discussed family life during an interview conducted while he was promoting his film Animals.
Affleck said his routine involved working before collecting the children from school. “You know, I have nothing salacious or all that interesting in my life. I work hard, and then I go home and pick up the kids from school,” he said.
He added: “We have dinner if they agree to hang out with me. They’re with me for a week, then with their mom for a week.”
Affleck also praised Garner, saying: “They have a great thing with their mom, for whom I’m also really, really grateful.” He described the current period of his life as “really wonderful”, while acknowledging that difficult moments could arise in the future.
The former couple share Violet, 20, Seraphina, 17, and Samuel, 14. Affleck and Garner met while working on Pearl Harbor in 2000 and reconnected while filming Daredevil in 2003. They married in 2005 and split in 2015.
