Tom Cruise’s personal assistants are said to manage even the smallest details of his daily routine, according to comedian Bert Kreischer.
Kreischer discussed the actor’s carefully organised lifestyle with Rob Lowe on the 2 Bears, 1 Cave podcast, in an episode published on Monday. Lowe appeared alongside Cruise in The Outsiders in the early 1980s.
He said he had been told by people familiar with Cruise’s arrangements that someone edits the commercials out of the sporting events the actor watches while working out.
That means, Kreischer claimed, Cruise sees only the best parts of Formula One races and football matches.
The comedian also said Cruise’s team is alerted when he is preparing to leave the gym, allowing staff to ensure his food is ready or his shower is running.
Kreischer’s comments portrayed a routine designed to remove everyday inconveniences, although they do not suggest that Cruise is disconnected from other people.
He pointed to a recent incident in which Cruise checked on a woman at work after believing she was in distress. She had actually been scrolling through her phone, but the actor went over to see if she was all right.
