Dorit Kemsley has claimed her estranged husband, PK Kemsley, controlled the family finances during their marriage and left her unaware of the couple’s financial position.
In legal documents, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said: “[PK] controlled the family finances.”
She alleged that attempts to ask questions or take part in financial decisions were treated by PK as signs of distrust. As a result, she said, she stopped pressing him and relied on him to manage the money.
Dorit said that after the pair separated in 2024, PK told her he would continue paying the household bills. However, she claimed she discovered in February 2026 that the gas supply at their marital home was due to be disconnected because of unpaid charges.
According to Dorit, PK made a payment to prevent the shut-off but did not tell her that he had stopped paying the utilities. She said this led to significant arrears and damaged her credit because the accounts were held in her name.
Dorit has further alleged that PK repeatedly broke promises concerning the bills.
PK disputes her account. He has said that Dorit earns more than he does through her RHOBH salary and endorsement deals, and that he never promised to pay her bills indefinitely after leaving the marital home.
The former couple have not yet reached an agreement over their financial disputes.
