Kylie Minogue delivered an airborne performance at the 2026 AFL Grand Final, singing from a suspended circular platform above the crowd at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Saturday.
The Melbourne-born pop star was performing at the venue for the first time as part of the pre-match entertainment, before the Fremantle Dockers faced the Brisbane Lions.
Her set began on the field, where dancers, costume changes and a giant red football bearing her name formed part of the production. Minogue later appeared high above the ground in a flowing white outfit with a silver-trimmed bodice and sunglasses.

G Flip joined Minogue after their own opening set, singing and playing guitar on Padam Padam. William Barton appeared during Confide in Me, while Dom Dolla joined the finale for a remix of Can’t Get You Out of My Head.
The performance also featured Minogue among dancers carrying oversized red feather fans. G Flip wore red and played a pink guitar during their appearance alongside the singer.
Minogue changed into several distinctive looks during the show, including a fitted black mini dress with fishnet tights and metallic gold knee-high boots. In another section, she wore a black top with long red, white and silver-toned streamers flowing from it.
The setlist opened with Love at First Sight, followed by In Your Eyes, On a Night Like This, All the Lovers, Spinning Around, Confide in Me, Slow, Padam Padam and The Loco-Motion.
It concluded with Can’t Get You Out of My Head, performed in the Dom Dolla remix. Speaking before the event, Minogue said: “They’re getting a Melbourne girl performing in her hometown, which is wild to me.”
