Ari Emanuel, Meghan Markle’s former agent, has said he no longer has to concern himself with the direction of her career.
The WME Group executive chairman was asked about the Duchess of Sussex’s professional future in an interview with The Sunday Times published over the weekend.
“Here’s the great thing: I don’t have to think about that anymore,” he replied.
Although Mr Emanuel is no longer involved in the day-to-day handling of Meghan’s career, WME confirmed that the agency continues to represent her and Archewell Group, the production company she co-founded with Prince Harry.
Meghan is still said to meet with other WME representatives, rather than the agency’s executive chairman.
The update comes after reports that Meghan and Harry had moved back to England and enrolled their children in school. The Duchess was also reportedly being considered for a role in the third season of Netflix’s The Gentlemen, although negotiations apparently broke down.
