Social media influencer Braden Peters, known online as “Clavicular”, has been charged with allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl at his family’s home on Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
Peters, 20, faces charges of rape, administering a substance for sexual intercourse and procuring alcohol for someone under 21. The charges were filed on September 8 over an alleged incident on May 23, 2025, court records show. He is not in custody and is due to appear for arraignment at Orleans District Court on October 14. His lawyer, Jeff Neiman, has said Peters is innocent, while a representative has disputed aspects of reports about the case. Alleged assault at Cape Cod home
The girl told police she first began messaging Peters on Instagram and that he knew she was 17. She later appeared in online “looksmaxxing” videos produced by Peters, who allegedly paid her and instructed her to tell viewers she was 18.
According to a police report, she said Peters gave her vodka during the videos but told her to describe it as water. On May 23 last year, she travelled by rideshare from her grandparents’ home to Peters’ family property in Chatham, where she met members of his family before being taken to his bedroom.
She told investigators she drank what she believed were two or three shots of vodka while Peters livestreamed on Twitch, and became increasingly intoxicated. An officer who reviewed footage said the girl could be heard telling Peters: “Wait I’m so drunk though.”
After the livestream ended, she said she went to bed and later woke to Peters allegedly raping her. The claims have not been tested in court.
Previous civil allegations
The allegations overlap with a civil lawsuit filed against Peters in Florida in April. That case also accused him of injecting the woman with a fat-dissolving substance during a livestream without her consent.
