Sebastien Pocognoli has named his first Scotland squad, with Sevilla striker Robbie Ure and Brondby defender Luis Binks among five players receiving their first full international call-ups.
Celtic defender Colby Donovan, Hearts winger Josh McPake and Swansea City’s Stephen Welsh are also included for Scotland’s upcoming Nations League fixtures.
Hull City forward Oli McBurnie returns to the squad for the first time since winning his last cap in 2021. Goalkeepers Scott Bain and Jon McCracken have also been recalled following Craig Gordon’s decision to retire after the World Cup.
Napoli midfielder Billy Gilmour is back after a knee injury ruled him out of the World Cup squad. He has completed 90 minutes in successive matches against Arsenal in the Champions League and Bologna in a 1-0 Serie A victory on Sunday.
Scott McTominay is absent while he recovers from minor heart surgery, while Rangers striker Lawrence Shankland has been ruled out with a hamstring problem. Torino forward Che Adams is also injured.

Angus Gunn and Liam Kelly join Bain and McCracken among the goalkeepers. The defenders are Binks, Josh Doig, Donovan, Luke Graham, Jack Hendry, Aaron Hickey, Scott McKenna, Nathan Patterson, Andy Robertson, Kieran Tierney and Welsh.
Ryan Christie, Lewis Ferguson, Gilmour, John McGinn, Kenny McLean, McPake and Lennon Miller make up the midfield group.
The forwards are Kieron Bowie, Findlay Curtis, Ben Gannon-Doak, Ure and James Wilson, alongside returning striker McBurnie.
Scotland’s Nations League fixtures
Scotland begin away to Slovenia on September 26 before hosting Switzerland three days later. They then travel to North Macedonia on October 3 and welcome Slovenia on October 6.
The group-stage programme concludes with Scotland hosting North Macedonia on November 13 before travelling to Switzerland on November 16.
