Four men remain at large more than a month after a machete-armed group allegedly broke into a home in Truganina, in Melbourne’s west, and threatened a resident during a search for cash.
Victoria Police said the men entered the property on Fiore Way at about 9pm on August 11, confronting a 35-year-old man and a 40-year-old woman in a hallway.
The man was threatened with a machete and sustained non-life-threatening injuries. The woman was not physically hurt.
The group then searched several rooms before escaping with multiple pieces of gold jewellery, police said.
Detectives have released CCTV footage showing the offenders leaving the property and getting into a silver or grey Holden Commodore.
The four men were dressed in black and are believed to have fled in the same vehicle. Police are appealing for help identifying them.
