Seattle’s Punk Rock Flea Market is marking its 20th anniversary this weekend with three days of independent trading, live music and community activity at the Quality Flea Center in Capitol Hill.
The all-ages event is being held from Friday 25 September to Sunday 27 September 2026 at the former QFC building on 15th Avenue East. Organisers say the market will bring together artists, collectors, makers and sellers offering everything from vintage clothing and vinyl records to toys, games and original artwork.

The market was launched in September 2006 in a basement in Seattle’s Belltown neighbourhood after organiser Josh Okrent identified a lack of flea markets and wanted to create a space where people could trade, meet and contribute to the local community.
It has since moved between several venues and is now based at the Quality Flea Center, a 15,000 sq ft events space in Capitol Hill. The organisers describe the market as a do-it-yourself venture rather than a conventional commercial operation.
“We’re not saying that you have to dress a certain way, you have to listen to a certain type of music, you have to prove any punk rock bonafides,” Okrent said. “It’s all about do-it-yourself. It’s all about ‘show up.’ Be yourself and contribute to the community.”
The market’s organisers say there is no corporate hierarchy and that money generated by the event remains within the participating community. The operation also supports the Low Income Housing Institute, which provides housing assistance for low-income and unhoused people across the Puget Sound region.
For the first time in four years, live bands will perform during the market, with music scheduled for Saturday and Sunday afternoons. A bar will also be available at the venue.
Admission remains one US dollar in cash, with an ATM available on site. The market will run from 2pm to 8pm on Friday, noon to 8pm on Saturday and noon to 6pm on Sunday.
Organisers say the next Seattle Punk Rock Flea Market is expected to take place in December.
