A Florida Missing Child Spectrum Alert has been issued for 14-year-old Lucas Maresca, who is missing from Spring Hill in Hernando County.
Authorities said Lucas, who is non-verbal and autistic, was last seen near the 10500 block of Blythville Road. His exact time of disappearance and the direction he may have travelled have not been released.

Lucas is described as a white boy, 5ft tall and weighing about 126lb, with brown hair and brown eyes.
He was reportedly wearing a grey and white T-shirt, fluorescent orange shorts and black shoes with fluorescent green shoelaces.
Florida’s Spectrum Alert system is intended to help locate missing children with autism spectrum disorder who may be at risk of serious injury. The Florida Department of Law Enforcement said the scheme took effect on 1 July 2026 and is designed to quickly mobilise the public and emergency services.
The Hernando County Sheriff’s Office urged anyone who has information about Lucas’s whereabouts to call 352-754-6830 or dial 911 immediately.
