Stacey Solomon has shared a fresh update from her new £2 million Essex home, giving fans a look at the large office space and revealing that her three sons are currently sleeping in the same room while renovations continue.
The presenter, 36, and her partner Joe Swash, 44, recently left Pickle Cottage, the family home they had bought for £1.3 million in 2021, for the new property.
In a video tour, Solomon showed an office featuring large wardrobes, a marble fireplace and industrial-style light fittings. She said she had previously used a shed as an office at Pickle Cottage.
“So welcome to the office. I have never had an office inside of my house in Pickle Cottage. I made the shed my office, so this is so cool,” she said.
She said the wardrobes had been left by the previous owners and suggested she might upcycle them, although she noted that the position of a floor socket would need to be changed.
Solomon also discussed a stone covering in front of the fireplace, saying she was curious about what lay behind it. She praised the room’s original coving and skirting boards and said she wanted to retain them.
“I absolutely love the lights. Is that weird? Like I love these old-fashioned industrial lights,” she said, adding that she wanted to base the room’s design around the existing fittings.

The family has begun work at the top of the house after the water tanks were deemed unsafe and had to be replaced. Solomon said this had led to considerable demolition, with bathrooms stripped of their baths, sinks and other fittings.
She is also considering keeping an orange bath which she had cleaned, despite expecting some followers to dislike the idea.
“There’s something about it that I really quite like and I’m going to show you tomorrow, clean it all up, try and bring it back to life,” she said. “I feel like I can make it into something like I could go with a whole orange theme in there.”
Downstairs, Zachary, 18, Leighton, 14, and Rex, seven, are sharing one room because their bedrooms are not yet ready. Solomon said the boys appeared to be enjoying being together and that she could hear them laughing and talking at night.
One of the other downstairs rooms is being used to store belongings that have not yet been unpacked. The family has also been without televisions after leaving the sets at Pickle Cottage because they had been fitted into alcoves and suited the previous house.
Solomon and Swash held a wedding ceremony in the garden of Pickle Cottage in 2022, although it was reported earlier this year that their marriage had not been formally registered and they were not legally husband and wife.
It has also been reported that Solomon bought both the new Essex property and Pickle Cottage in her own name.
