Ten dogs have died after a mobile home caught fire in Citra, Florida, with four other dogs found alive near a nearby garage, officials said.
Marion County Fire Rescue said crews were called to the property on NE 42nd Avenue at about 3pm on Tuesday, 22 September, and found the home completely engulfed in flames.
The fire had spread to an adjacent garage, prompting several agencies to attend as firefighters worked to contain the blaze and protect neighbouring homes.
No residents or firefighters were injured. The cause of the fire has not been established.
The American Red Cross was contacted to support the people living at the property, according to Marion County Fire Rescue.
