The Desert Fall Festival opens in Surprise on Friday, September 25, launching a six-week run of autumn attractions in the Arizona city.
The event will take place across 13 acres at 14470 W Tierra Buena Lane, near the intersection of Greenway and Bullard, and will continue until November 1.
Organisers say visitors can expect more than 20 attractions, including a pumpkin hunt, excavator experiences, apple cannons, hay-bale archery, bungee trampolines, pumpkin bowling, a 40ft zipline and a 90ft fun slide.
The 2026 programme also includes a roller rink, axe throwing and line-dancing lessons, alongside live entertainment, seasonal food, fire pits, s’mores and photo opportunities.
The festival, which debuted in 2025, is entering its second year. Local broadcaster ABC15 reported that organisers expect the event to draw tens of thousands of visitors and employ more than 200 local workers during the season.
Opening-night hours on September 25 are 5pm to 10pm. From September 28, the festival will operate on a varied schedule, with later closing times on Fridays and Saturdays.
Admission is required for visitors aged three and over, with tickets advertised from $17.95. Some of the higher-demand activities, including the excavator experience, zipline and apple cannons, require additional credits.
