Angelina Jolie has agreed to sell her Los Feliz mansion for 24.75 million US dollars as she prepares to leave Los Angeles and begin a new chapter.
The 51-year-old actress bought the property for about 24.5 million dollars in 2017, following her split from Brad Pitt. The sale remains subject to a pending contract after the house spent five months on the market.
Jolie initially listed the six-bedroom, 10-bathroom residence in May for almost 30 million dollars.
Built in 1913, the 11,000-square-foot home stands on two acres with views towards the Hollywood Hills and Griffith Observatory. It was previously owned by director Cecil B. DeMille.
The property includes a farmhouse-style kitchen, several living areas, a library, tea house, wine cellar and fitness studio. A basement laundry room, swimming pool and pool house are also among its features, with the grounds surrounded by mature trees and greenery.

Jolie’s move comes after her children have begun leaving home. She is understood to be planning a life outside Los Angeles, although she has not yet settled on another permanent residence.
She is expected to return to work in different parts of the world, including Cambodia, where she also owns a home.
In a 2024 interview, Jolie said she had remained in Los Angeles because of her divorce but would be able to leave once her children reached adulthood.
“When you have a big family, you want them to have privacy, peace, safety,” she said. “I have a house now to raise my children, but sometimes this place can be… that humanity that I found across the world is not what I grew up with here.”
She added that she planned to spend “a lot of time in Cambodia” and visit family members around the world after leaving California.
The sale follows further changes within the family. Jolie and Pitt’s son Maddox has legally removed Pitt from his surname, becoming Maddox Chivan Jolie. He follows his sister Shiloh, who made the same change, while Zahara and twins Vivienne and Knox have informally stopped using their father’s surname and are understood to be pursuing legal changes.
Jolie and Pitt split in 2016 after a 12-year relationship and two years of marriage. Their divorce was finalised in December 2024, although they remain involved in a legal dispute over their shared French winery, Château Miraval.
