Influencer Ash Trevino has filed a lawsuit accusing Raelene Ortega of making false allegations to her probation officer in an attempt to have her community supervision revoked.
The claim, filed on 17 September, alleges that Ortega reported Trevino for supposedly making threats and using racial slurs online against a restaurant she had publicly criticised. Stephanie Lama is also named as a co-defendant.
According to the filing, the probation officer told Ortega that any illegal activity could be reported to police. Ortega allegedly replied: “OK, but, that’s no[t] like violation of her, of her probation?”
The documents also state that Ortega told the officer she had screenshots and screen recordings of Trevino “making those threats”. Trevino denies making threats or using racial slurs.
Trevino further alleges that Ortega later uploaded the entire recorded conversation to TikTok. She claims the allegations were knowingly false and were made directly to her probation officer in the hope that she would be found in breach of her conditions.
Trevino previously avoided a jail sentence after facing fraud charges. She was instead ordered to complete two years of community supervision, 120 hours of community service, an anti-theft programme and financial counselling.
Her conditions also prohibited alcohol and illegal drugs, visits to strip clubs and liquor shops, and travel more than 100 miles from her Texas home without permission.
Prosecutors had claimed Trevino had relationships with between 50 and 75 inmates. As part of the arrangements allowing her to remain out of prison, she was also ordered to avoid romantic relationships with anyone with a criminal record.
