US Park Police have detained another person over the alleged vandalism of the Lincoln Memorial Reflecting Pool in Washington, only days after the landmark reopened following a major renovation. The suspect, described as a cyclist, was arrested at the scene. According to on-scene reports and video footage circulating online, he was seen pulling pieces of the pool’s new blue sealant from the bottom of the basin. Police are said to believe the act was deliberate, targeting a protective liner that has already been troubled by peeling and algae growth. A California woman died and dozens were injured after a Target semi-truck plowed through the center divider of a freeway and caused a massive crash.  The accident happened around 8.55am local time on the 210 Freeway in Irwindale, about 20 miles east of Los Angeles, according to KTLA citing the California Highway Patrol (CHP). In addition to the woman who died, at least 25 others were injured in the accident. Three of those people were reported to be in critical condition, according to the CHP. James Burrows, a major force in television comedy who co-created “Cheers” and directed every episode of the first run of “Will and Grace,” has died, his attorney told NBC News. He was 85. His formidable career spanned entire generations of television viewers, including work on some of the biggest shows from the 1970s through the 1990s.
