A body has been found inside a burnt-out home in Bellbird Park, Queensland, following an overnight house fire.
Emergency services were called to the property in Verran Street at about 5pm on Thursday after reports of a blaze. The fire was extinguished and police declared a crime scene.
The body was discovered during a search of the damaged property on Friday morning. The person has not yet been formally identified.
An investigation is under way to establish the cause of the fire and confirm the deceased person’s identity.
