Brandon Sklenar unveiled a dramatic blond hair transformation at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.
The 36-year-old actor arrived at the red carpet with a much lighter, cropped hairstyle, marking a striking departure from the darker look he is usually known for.
Sklenar, whose credits include 1923 and The Housemaid, paired the new style with a black leather jacket, white vest, black trousers, oversized sunglasses and snakeskin shoes.
He attended the ceremony ahead of presenting an award, having been announced as part of the line-up alongside Charli xcx, Teyana Taylor, Troye Sivan, Tyla and David Corenswet.
The actor was also joined on the carpet by Hassie Harrison, his co-star in the upcoming action thriller The Rescue. The pair play former partners forced to work together after their daughter is kidnapped.
Paramount released the first trailer for the film days before the ceremony. Sklenar plays a former rodeo cowboy who sets out to rescue his daughter, accompanied by her dog.
The Rescue also stars Josh Lucas, Lorelei Olivia Mote, Nick Searcy, Austin Amelio, Spencer Treat Clark, Tim Blake Nelson and Josh Duhamel. It is scheduled to arrive in cinemas on January 29, 2027.
