A 27-year-old man has died after being stabbed during a domestic dispute with his brother in Woodbridge, Virginia, police said.
Officers from the Prince William County Police Department were called to a home in the 4600 block of Whitaker Place at about 6.12am on Sunday, August 30.
They found Maliek Raykwon Harrington inside the property with multiple stab wounds to his upper body. Police officers gave him first aid before he was taken to hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Investigators said an argument between the two family members escalated and a knife was used during the altercation.
Harrington’s brother, Ryheim Darnel Harrington, 25, was arrested at the scene without incident. Both men were from Woodbridge, according to local reports.
Ryheim Harrington has been charged with second-degree murder and is being held without bond. A court date had not been set as of Sunday.
