Celine Dion climbed barefoot on to the roof of a BMW and continued singing for fans after her Paris concert, in an impromptu performance captured on video.
The Canadian singer was greeted by a crowd in the early hours of Saturday, with supporters playing her song “Pour Que Tu M’aimes Encore”, which translates as “So That You’ll Love Me Again”.
Dion, taken aback by the reception following the second night of her Paris residency, mounted the car and delivered a two-minute rendition of the song.
She also lay on the roof during the performance, at different points reclining on her back and her stomach, while remaining barefoot.
The appearance came after Dion performed in Nanterre, a suburb of Paris. She had previously become emotional during a concert there, overwhelmed by the response to her return to the stage.
Dion has spoken about her struggles with stiff person syndrome in the documentary I Am: Celine Dion. The residency marks her return to performing after a six-year hiatus and comprises 26 shows.
