Chicago police are seeking a man accused of sexually abusing a woman on a Chicago Transit Authority Blue Line train earlier this month.
The incident took place at about 6.38pm on 10 September in the 4,000 block of West Irving Park Road, near the Irving Park station in the city’s Old Irving Park neighbourhood.
Police said the man sat behind the passenger before touching her inappropriately and leaving the train. Surveillance images of the suspect have since been released.
The suspect is described as a Black man wearing a long-sleeved grey shirt, black trousers and a black-and-white hat bearing a logo. He was also wearing headphones and carrying a backpack, according to police.
His age, height and weight have not been established.

Chicago Police Department detectives are asking anyone who recognises the man or has information about the incident to call Public Transportation detectives on 312-745-4447.

Police advised CTA passengers to remain alert, report suspicious activity by calling 911 and avoid attempting to pursue anyone who flees.
