Cindy Crawford shared a message expressing pride in her son Presley Gerber two months before his death. Gerber died on September 20 while in a rehabilitation facility, according to the information available.
The model posted a birthday tribute to Gerber on July 2, alongside old photographs of the pair. She wrote: “Happy birthday @presleygerber. I’m so proud of the man you’ve become, but I’ll always see you as my little boy! Love you.”
Crawford had also publicly supported her son after he wrote about receiving treatment for substance use in March 2026. Gerber said he had received an ibogaine flood dose while in Cancun, Mexico.
In his post, Gerber wrote: “Letting go of control didn’t come easy, but I trusted there was something bigger than me guiding it. I knew why i was there. I faced what I had been running from, and somewhere in all of it, i started finding my way back to myself…. We shall see…. Praying it’s the last time I have to come back.”
Crawford replied: “You are a warrior! Walked thru the fire to find yourself! So proud!”
Gerber’s sister, Kaia Gerber, also commented on the post, writing: “that’s my brother I am so damn proud.”
