Kroy Biermann has been ordered to pay more than 64,000 US dollars (£48,000) over an unpaid gambling debt linked to a 2021 trip to the Bahamas.
The former NFL player owes Sky Warrior, the company responsible for credit lines at Baha Mar Casino, after the firm secured a judgment against him for 52,500 dollars. Almost 12,000 dollars in legal fees and costs were added to the sum.
The case was transferred to Georgia, where Biermann was reportedly served late last month.
Sky Warrior sued him in 2023, alleging that he obtained a 100,000-dollar line of credit for the Bahamas trip and used 52,500 dollars in casino chip markers without repaying the amount.
The gambling debt is part of wider financial difficulties involving Biermann and his estranged wife, Kim Zolciak. Biermann has also faced a lawsuit from Chase over more than 13,000 dollars in credit card debt, while the former couple have dealt with other legal claims, vehicle repossession issues and significant tax problems.
Biermann and Zolciak remain involved in divorce proceedings.
