Eight people were taken to hospital after a school bus was involved in a three-vehicle crash in Wilmington, Delaware, on Tuesday morning.
Police said the collision happened at about 9am at the junction of West 10th Street and North Lincoln Street. An SUV struck an occupied school bus and a second transport vehicle, investigators said.
Six people travelling on the school bus and the drivers of two vehicles were taken to a local hospital. All were reported to be in a stable condition.
The school bus is operated by the Red Clay Consolidated School District, according to local reports.
Police have not released the ages of those involved, and the circumstances leading to the Wilmington crash remain under investigation.
