Eleven people were left displaced after a house fire in Milwaukee on Saturday morning, 19 September, with firefighters finding flames in the attic of the property near 9th Street and Orchard Street.
Nine people were evacuated from the home during the incident, according to the Milwaukee Fire Department. No injuries were reported.
The fire broke out shortly after 3am in the Historic Mitchell Street neighbourhood, local reports said. Firefighters extinguished the blaze after locating it in the attic.
The American Red Cross was involved in providing assistance to those affected by the fire.
The cause remains under investigation by the Milwaukee Fire Department.
