Geordie Shore star Gaz Beadle has welcomed a daughter with his girlfriend, nursing graduate Maia Ellen, after she endured a 40-hour labour.
Beadle, 38, shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, posting photographs from hospital that showed him smiling beside Maia and their newborn baby.
“She’s here after 40 hours of what felt like a lifetime,” he wrote. “Maia was incredible… there really is no other feeling like it. She is perfect… Time to get her home.”
The couple’s announcement prompted messages of congratulations from several of Beadle’s fellow reality stars, including Abbie Holborn, Chloe Ferry, Chris Hughes and Dan Osborne.
Beadle revealed in February that Maia, 24, was pregnant, sharing footage of her ultrasound scan. The couple later announced they were expecting a girl at a baby shower in April, where a pink smoke cannon was released.
In the days before the birth, Beadle joked that they had been “trying everything” to encourage the baby to arrive, including filming Maia dancing and jumping around.
Maia later told followers that she had tried numerous suggestions but had accepted that their daughter would arrive when she was ready.
The newborn is Beadle’s third child. He already shares son Chester, seven, and daughter Primrose, four, with his former wife Emma McVey.
Beadle and McVey married in July 2021 before separating two years later. He went public with Maia in 2024 and has previously described her as inspirational for supporting him after the split.
The couple’s arrival comes after months of sharing their pregnancy with followers, including images from scans, family preparations and a beach holiday where Beadle celebrated becoming a father again.
