Gordon Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen marks its 25th season today with a new generation of contestants, all aged 25 or under and raised watching the long-running cooking competition.
The milestone series premieres on FOX on Thursday, September 24, as Ramsay searches for a young chef capable of becoming his protégé.
The contestants will face a series of demanding culinary challenges before competing in the show’s famously high-pressure dinner services. They will initially be split into two teams, with the women on the red team and the men on the blue team.

Ramsay said the recruits were “hungry, and keen to make their mark on this historic season”, adding that their level of talent could make it “one of the best seasons”.
The new series was filmed at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut, which is home to one of Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurants.
Alongside the latest competition, the anniversary season will revisit the programme’s history with appearances from former winners, celebrity guests and culinary figures. Memorable challenges and an anniversary dinner will also feature.
The eventual winner will receive a $250,000 cash prize and the chance to take up a head chef position at Ramsay’s Hell’s Kitchen restaurant at Foxwoods.
