“Looksmaxxing” influencer Braden Peters, known online as Clavicular, has been charged in Massachusetts with allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl at his family’s home on Cape Cod.
Peters, 20, faces charges of rape, administering a substance for sexual intercourse and procuring alcohol for a person under 21. The alleged incident took place in Chatham on 23 May 2025.
Court records show that probable cause was found on 4 September 2026, with a criminal complaint and summons issued four days later. Peters is not in custody and is due to appear at Orleans District Court for arraignment on 14 October. What the police report alleges
The girl told police she had first contacted Peters through Instagram and that he knew she was 17. She later appeared in looksmaxxing videos streamed online by Peters, who allegedly paid her to take part and instructed her to tell viewers she was 18.
According to the police report, she was also told to describe vodka as water during the livestream. She said she became increasingly intoxicated after drinking what she believed were two or three shots.
She travelled by rideshare from her grandparents’ home to the Peters family residence on Morris Island. After meeting members of his family, she went with Peters to his bedroom, where he was broadcasting on Twitch.
An officer who reviewed footage from the stream said the girl could be heard telling Peters: “Wait I’m so drunk though.” He allegedly replied: “It’s OK,” before the pair kissed.
The girl said she later fell asleep in Peters’ bedroom and woke the following morning to find him having sex with her. She told police that she had not consented.
Influencer denies separate civil allegations
The allegations were also raised in a civil lawsuit filed against Peters in Florida in April. That case accused him of having non-consensual sex with the girl while she was intoxicated and of later injecting her with a fat-dissolving substance during a livestream without her consent.
Peters has denied the allegations in the lawsuit. His representative has also said he had not been physically served with the Massachusetts charges and described reports about the case as exaggerated. Looksmaxxing describes efforts to alter or enhance physical appearance, sometimes through extreme or potentially dangerous practices. Peters built an online following by promoting the trend through livestreams and social media content.
The criminal charges remain allegations. Peters has not been convicted of an offence and will be formally arraigned at Orleans District Court on 14 October 2026.
