Jerry Hall took centre stage at the ELLE Style Awards in London on Wednesday evening, arriving in a striking black gown as stars including Simone Ashley, Rosamund Pike and Emily Maitlis gathered for the magazine’s annual celebration.
The 70-year-old model wore a long-sleeved, figure-hugging dress by 16Arlington, featuring a chest cut-out and an embellished collar. She completed the look with dark sunglasses, black lace shoes and a patterned black-and-white clutch.
Hall’s dress revealed a glimpse of leg as she posed for photographs outside The Maine hotel, where the event was held on 9 September.
Simone Ashley, 31, chose a floor-length black dress with a faux-fur shawl, while Rosamund Pike made a statement in a silver and blue patchwork gown from Erdem’s autumn/winter 2026 collection.
Pike’s high-necked dress featured intricate embellishment and a ruffled collar. She was later seen chatting and joking with designer Erdem Moralıoğlu.
Emily Maitlis opted for a blue sequin dress by Jenny Packham, reported to cost £3,850, styling it with a black scarf and floral drop earrings.
Ruth Wilson also wore Erdem, choosing a pink satin gown that deliberately exposed her bra. She paired the look with white furry heels and a matching bag.
Simone Ashley honoured at the ELLE Style Awards
Ashley was named Performer of the Year at the ceremony, following her role in The Devil Wears Prada 2. The award comes as the actress continues to build on her international profile after playing Kate Sharma in Bridgerton.
Tyla received the Artist of the Year award after releasing her second studio album, A*Pop, in July, while Sarah Pidgeon was named Modern Muse of the Year for her portrayal of Carolyn Bessette in the Disney+ series Love Story.
The awards are among ELLE’s biggest events of the year, bringing together figures from fashion, film, television, music and journalism.
Ashley recently told ELLE UK that she would consider becoming a Bond girl if she received an offer, while expressing an interest in taking on more action and fantasy roles.
She has also spoken about her hopes for both her career and personal life, saying she wants to find a kind and supportive partner while continuing to pursue ambitious projects.
Other guests at the London event included Doctor Who star Ncuti Gatwa, who wore a black blazer with a white polka-dot shirt, and Sex Education actress Rhea Norwood, who arrived in a sheer black dress patterned with bows.
