Juventus have reached an agreement with Newcastle United to sign Germany international Nick Woltemade on loan, with the move expected to be completed before the transfer window closes.
The 24-year-old forward joined Newcastle from VfB Stuttgart in the summer of 2025 in a club-record deal, but has struggled to establish himself as a regular at St James’ Park.
Woltemade made 51 appearances in all competitions last season, contributing 11 goals and assists, according to Newcastle’s official player profile. He is also part of Germany’s squad for the 2026 World Cup.
The proposed switch to Turin would give Woltemade the opportunity to play under Juventus manager Luciano Spalletti, with the Serie A club seeking reinforcements in attack.
Newcastle are understood to be continuing work on their own forward options, with the club having explored a move for Lille attacker Matias Fernandez-Pardo. Woltemade’s departure remains subject to the final completion of the loan arrangements.
