Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky have welcomed a baby girl named Rose Bean Polansky, according to her birth certificate.
Rose was born at 11.19pm on June 9 at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.
The origin of her name has not been confirmed. Gaga has a large rose tattoo down her spine, commemorating her performance of “La Vie En Rose” in A Star Is Born. Her daughter’s middle name, Bean, may have been inspired by singer and activist Carl Bean, whose work influenced Gaga’s hit “Born This Way”.
Rose was delivered by Dr Robert Katz, an obstetrician and gynaecologist who has also helped Ciara and Russell Wilson welcome their daughter, Sienna.
Gaga was recently photographed holding her daughter close to her chest while walking with Polansky and a friend in Northern California. The couple have been spending private family time away from the spotlight.
Gaga and Polansky remain engaged and have not married, despite a recent report claiming they had secretly tied the knot.
Sources with direct knowledge said earlier this month that close family members had seen the couple together and knew they had not got married.
Gaga and Polansky became engaged in 2024. In March, Gaga said they planned to marry “soon”.
