An attorney representing friends of Nolan Wells has described alleged threats to kill Warren Hudson and slit the throats of his two younger brothers.
Tyler Cox said the threats were made by an indicted individual during an interview with Kayleigh McEnany on Fox News’ Saturday in America. He said the person had threatened Hudson and his stepmother, Ashlee Cole, a chancery judge.
“They were going to slit his brothers’ throats in front of them,” Cox said.
Cox added that the alleged harasser was being held without bond. “And so that person is thankfully being held without bond and hopefully seeing justice soon. And that’s just one example of many,” he said.
Threats followed Nolan Wells’ death
Hudson, Jax Pitalo and Morgan Seymour have spoken about threats made against them and their families following Wells’ death.
Hudson said the messages had extended beyond his immediate family. “Hundreds, thousands, not just my stepmom, but my mom, my dad, my stepdad, my entire family,” he said.
In the interview, the three friends also discussed being “devastated” and “traumatized” after learning that Wells had died.
Hudson said he was now trying to move forward. “I have to live my life,” he said.
The identity of the indicted person discussed by Cox was not named during the interview. Edward James Porter was indicted by a federal grand jury in August after being accused of threatening to kill a witness connected to the case and the witness’s family.
