Lionel Richie has been hospitalised in an intensive care unit in St Louis after performing at The Muny over the weekend, with doctors reportedly investigating possible dehydration.
The 77-year-old singer checked himself into a local hospital after his concert on Saturday, 29 August, to undergo tests, according to TMZ. Sources told the outlet that he was seeking treatment as a precaution and could be discharged on Tuesday.

A report by The St Louis American said Richie also spoke to the audience about a recent health scare during the concert. He said he had returned to his doctor, who told him he was suffering from dehydration, and he drank electrolytes during the performance.
