A 36-year-old man has died after being stabbed inside an apartment building in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, with a person of interest taken into custody, police said.
Officers were called to 333 Linden Boulevard at about 7.02am on Saturday following reports of a stabbing. They found the victim with multiple stab wounds to his torso.
Emergency medical services took him to NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County, where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim’s identity has not been released, pending notification of his family. The identity of the person in custody has also not been disclosed.
News 12, citing sources close to the investigation, reported that the attack appeared to be domestic in nature. No official charges had been announced by Saturday afternoon.
