TikTok creator Mason Hull has pleaded not guilty to 15 charges of possessing child sexual abuse material, after detectives alleged that videos were found on his phone.
The 18-year-old, known for posting “Looksmaxxing” content, was arrested on 5 May. The allegations centre on material investigators say he obtained online.
According to an arrest warrant, Hull’s girlfriend told police she searched his phone because she believed he was being unfaithful. She allegedly found messages on Telegram indicating that he had paid people for videos.
Police documents say Hull told officers during questioning that he had wanted to “try something new” and had sought out taboo pornography.
He allegedly admitted spending money on two occasions to buy videos involving children aged between eight and 15. Detectives said some of the material recovered showed children crying while being abused.
Hull was released on bond with an order preventing him from using the internet. Prosecutors later alleged that he breached that condition.
His lawyers told the court that Hull was an influencer and argued that a complete ban on internet use was restricting his ability to earn a living.
