My Kitchen Rules 2026 will bring four newly revealed teams to Channel 7, as Australian cooks compete for a $100,000 prize under judges Manu Feildel and Colin Fassnidge.
The contestants include pairs of friends, partners and colleagues from South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria, each bringing a distinct cooking style and personal story to the competition.

South Australian friends Angus and Simon are entering the competition with an instant restaurant called Last Orders. Angus is a fifth-generation funeral director, while Simon takes a more methodical, recipe-led approach in the kitchen.
The pair met while working in a pub 11 years ago and have remained close friends. Angus, who is recently engaged, is described as the entertainer of the duo, while Simon provides a more measured counterbalance.
Despite their contrasting styles, the mates are confident they can work together to challenge the other teams. Angus has joked: “The only thing we’re burying is the competition.”
From the Blue Mountains, food stylist Jane and builder Shane are hoping their eye for presentation will translate into success at the dinner table.
Married couple Jane and Shane describe their food as vibrant and flavour-packed. Jane is confident in her ability to recreate dishes, while Shane, a former hairdresser, is expected to provide a calm presence when his wife’s strong opinions take centre stage.
Their instant restaurant is set to reflect their interest in design, with bold dishes and a polished presentation.
South Australian best friends Alisha and Deanne promise a more boisterous presence in the kitchen. The pair, who met at school as teenagers, describe themselves as “classy bogans” and are known for their loud, energetic personalities.
Their menu will include Alisha’s nan’s sticky date pudding and Deanne’s birria tacos. Alisha said the friends were “chaotic, loud, in-your-face, crazy, funny and quick-witted”, while Deanne said they were “basically one brain”.
Victorian nurses Mary and Golden will draw on their Filipino heritage as they compete. The friends met while studying nursing in the Philippines before moving to Australia in 2004.
Mary said they wanted to show that Filipino food was “made with love”, while Golden hopes viewers will experience the cuisine in its different forms and understand the hospitality and generosity associated with it.
Golden’s calm nature is expected to balance Mary’s more infectious energy as they present dishes shaped by their culture, friendship and life in Australia.
