A 37-year-old person was killed in a shooting near Pierce and Wright streets in Milwaukee on Thursday evening, 17 September.
Milwaukee Police Department officers were called to the area at about 8.45pm, where they found the victim suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The shooting took place in the 2500 block of North Pierce Street in the Riverwest neighbourhood. Police have not released the victim’s identity.
Detectives are investigating the circumstances leading up to the shooting and are searching for an unidentified suspect or suspects. No arrests have been announced.
