Parking at the 2026 Perth Royal Show will raise funds for four Claremont community organisations, with a temporary station at Lake Claremont charging $20 per vehicle.
The Lions Club Claremont, Freshwater Bay Primary School P&C Association, Friends of Lake Claremont and Claremont Lawn Tennis Club will operate the facility, with each group taking responsibility for two days during the show.
All proceeds will go to the volunteer-led, not-for-profit organisations to support their financial sustainability.

Town of Claremont mayor Peter Telford said the arrangement would ensure local organisations benefited from the influx of visitors to the event.
“The Royal Show brings over 300,000 visitors to Claremont, and this is a practical way of making sure some of that activity directly benefits our community,” he said.
“Every dollar raised from the Lake Claremont parking will go back to local clubs and community groups, supporting the people and organisations that make Claremont such a strong community.”
The Lions Club uses fundraising to support medical research, local youth programmes and the Lions Alzheimer’s Foundation. The Freshwater Bay P&C Association raises money for school facility upgrades and social events, while Friends of Lake Claremont works to conserve the local wetlands.
Claremont Lawn Tennis Club is preparing community social events, junior sessions and pennant competitions for the summer.
Temporary parking will also be available at Rowe Park for $20 per vehicle, operated by the town’s community safety officers. Additional parking is available around the showground, including some resident verge parking, while pre-booked spaces can be found at Ashton Triangle and Swanbourne Primary School.
The Royal Agricultural Society of WA recommends public transport as the easiest way to reach the show. Showgrounds train station is on the Fremantle line and provides direct access to the gates, while Claremont station is nearby and served by regular trains and buses.
