A man was shot in the chest during a South Seattle shooting on Wednesday evening, with the suspected gunman still at large, police said.
Officers were called to the 9200 block of 42nd Avenue South in the Rainier Beach neighbourhood at about 6.30pm on September 23 after reports that someone had been shot.
The victim was taken to Harborview Medical Center and was reported to be in a stable condition. Police believe the suspect opened fire from a vehicle before fleeing the scene.
Seattle Police Department detectives from the Gun Violence Reduction Unit are leading the investigation. No arrests had been made.
