Princess Diana death claims have been made by her brother, Charles Spencer, who says in an upcoming book that then Prince Charles sounded upbeat after his former wife died in a Paris car crash in 1997.
The allegation concerns the reaction of Diana’s former husband following her death, and is due to be discussed further in an interview with Spencer.
Asked about the claims, Buckingham Palace referred to a statement released earlier this week concerning the King’s response to the allegations.
The statement said the King “is mindful that the pain of fraternal grief can cloud reason, affect judgement and colour memory, even many years after such a loss.”
