Shemar Moore has revealed he has undergone three surgeries on his feet, joking that fans might view him differently if they knew about his “ugly *** feet”.
The 56-year-old Criminal Minds alum discussed the procedures during an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, in its fifth season, for the episode broadcast on Friday October 2.
Moore said he had invested in his appearance, referring to “these eyebrows” and saying he had paid “a lot of money for these teeth”. He added that he also worked to maintain his fitness, but said his feet had been a source of embarrassment.
“But the lower we go, we get to around my ankles and just below my ankles ain’t no tan…cause [his feet] ain’t see the light of day,” he said.
He explained that one of the operations addressed a bunion, describing it as “that whole bump on the side”. Moore recalled wearing smart clothes and new dress shoes, only to find that his feet had left visible impressions inside them.
“I used to walk on the beach, no joke, when I was modeling. When people got too close to me, you wouldn’t notice it, but I’d dig my feet in the sand,” he said.
Moore said his feet are now “presentable”, allowing him to walk by a pool or visit the beach without the same concern.
The actor previously thanked his podiatrist in a 2023 video, saying the treatment was turning him into “a future Foot Model”. In 2025, he also referred to having undergone “a little foot surgery” in a caption accompanying a selfie.
