An 18-year-old man has been arrested after a 23-year-old woman was fatally stabbed at a home in Kooringal, a suburb of Wagga Wagga in New South Wales.
Emergency services were called to the property on Ziegler Avenue at about 11.45am on Saturday, where the woman was found suffering stab wounds.
Police and paramedics performed CPR, but she died at the scene.
Officers were told that another man had left the home before emergency services arrived. Police believe those involved were known to one another.
The arrested man was taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station. Specialist officers are investigating the circumstances surrounding the woman’s death at the property.
