Teresa Giudice told police that her daughter Milania had fentanyl in her system during an earlier incident, according to bodycam footage recorded at Tampa International Airport.
The footage shows Teresa speaking to officers in an airport lift last Wednesday, during an emotional situation involving the family. Milania is also heard claiming that she had been “laced”.
It is unclear when the alleged fentanyl incident took place, whether Milania received medical treatment, or what substance she believed she had been given. It is also unclear who she thought was responsible.
Teresa’s comments appear to refer to an incident shortly before Milania was taken to a mental health facility under Florida’s Baker Act.
Other sections of the footage show Gia Giudice telling officers that the family had hired a counsellor to help Milania.
Teresa is heard telling her daughter she wants to “save your life”, while Gia says she wants to help her.
