A Jetstar flight from Melbourne to Brisbane was delayed after a man allegedly boarded without a ticket, prompting crew to call police.
Flight JQ562 was scheduled to leave Melbourne Airport at 9.35am on Wednesday, but its departure was reportedly pushed back by about 30 minutes following the alleged security incident.
A witness told 3AW’s Rumour File that the man was initially stopped before boarding but allegedly found another way on to the Airbus A320.
Cabin crew reportedly discovered him at the rear of the aircraft and contacted police, who escorted him from the plane.
Jetstar confirmed that it had responded to a security incident on board the flight, but did not provide further details.
