‘This one comes straight from my heart, my country roots, and the places and memories that helped shape me.’
Slaton added: ‘I’m so excited for y’all to finally hear the finished song and see everything we’ve been working on behind the scenes.’

At one point, Slaton had weighed over 400lbs, but underwent bariatric surgery in 2019.
Back in 2023, People reported that she had weighed around 230lbs following the procedure. Her sister, Tammy, also had the same surgery done in 2022 and has since lost 500lbs after weighing over 700lbs.
‘Mom was always at work, so we had to learn how to cook and stuff for ourselves,’ Slaton recalled to the outlet during a past interview.
‘And at 10 and 11 you really couldn’t prepare healthy food and stuff.’
Tammy, who had also joined in on the conversation, added: ‘The microwave was our best friend. Ramen noodles, bowls of soup, things that were quick and easy – stuff that adds on carbs.’
