Former Survivor contestant Jaime Dugan is missing with her 16-year-old son, Harper Huffman, after allegedly failing to return him to his father following a weekend visit in South Carolina.
The pair have not been seen since 30 August, and authorities are investigating their whereabouts. A judge has declared Harper missing and endangered and ordered Dugan’s immediate arrest.
Dugan’s visitation rights have been suspended, while Harper’s father, Erik Huffman, has been granted sole custody.
She appeared remotely at an emergency court hearing in September but refused to disclose where she and Harper were, according to reports. Dugan was later ordered to attend a hearing in person with her son, but neither appeared.
Huffman said he was deeply concerned about Harper’s safety and had been working continuously with law enforcement to locate him.
Dugan and Huffman met while filming Survivor: China in 2007 and later married. They went through a divorce in 2024, after which Huffman was awarded custody and Dugan was granted visits every other weekend.
The judge’s order also referred to abuse allegations previously made by Dugan against Huffman and Harper’s paternal grandmother. The allegations were ultimately deemed unfounded by the court, and Huffman has denied them.
