The Barron Trump-backed beverage brand he started with “a group of close friends ages 19-23” from South Florida has launched its first product.
SOLLOS Yerba Mate, the beverage company in which the youngest son of President Donald Trump is listed as a director, debuted the sun-themed product at a steep price ahead of the summer season.
Per the listing, the Pineapple + Coconut 12-pack, retailing for $39, is made with organic Brazilian yerba mate, and is supplemented by pineapple and coconut flavors and sweetened with cane sugar, raw honey and monk fruit extract. Each can contains 50 calories and 120 mg of natural caffeine.

The 12-pack marks the first release of the brand, which claims to embody the experience of Florida living, according to its site.
“It all started in a cabana, with a simple goal: create a beverage that actually complements life in the Sunshine State,” the SOLLOS team wrote on the brand’s page.
SOLLOS was created in response to Florida’s “outdoor, sun-driven lifestyle,” per the site, and claims to be “clean, functional and great-tasting” — something that SOLLOS claims has been missing from the market in the Sunshine State. The company’s product is meant to be “refreshing after a surf session, energizing enough to carry you through a tennis set, and crafted with organic ingredients,” the site reads. In addition, the company has put its full confidence into just one flavor, it stated.
“Most brands launch with four flavors hoping you’ll like one of them,” the SOLLOS team wrote on the site. “We have been obsessing over one flavor until it was flawless. Enjoy.”
In a LinkedIn post months prior to its product launch, SOLLOS explained the meaning behind its name.
“‘SOL,’ meaning sun in Spanish, represents the sun rising and the beginning of the day. ‘LOS,’ which is ‘Sol’ spelled backwards, represents the sun setting and the end of the day,” the post read. “Together, SOLLOS captures the full cycle of the sun and that ‘It Begins Where It Ends.’ “
